This is an actually boat house. Though entirely built on the place where it was shot, eventually was going to be transported to a lake. The owner/architect/builder made it for his daughter (5) who loved fairy tale themed houses.
I just happened to be there while it was almost done. Amazing craftsmanship inside and out.

I have looked at many weird and wonderful houses online, seen some fantastic one off's.

even cuter from inside. everything is made entirely of wood; well except for appliances/fixtures etc.

What an amazing house. It really looks like from some Lullaby stories. :)
